How it started
Our story
A rainy Tuesday
We met in a small coffee house in Utrecht. Emre spilled his cappuccino over Sophie's book — and offered to buy her a new one.
Our first home
A tiny apartment with crooked floors, far too many plants and the best canal view we could have wished for.
The proposal
On a walk along the bay of Alaçatı, at sunset. Sophie said yes before Emre could finish his sentence.
Our wedding day
And now we get to celebrate with the people we love most — you, from the Netherlands and from Turkey.

Dress code
Festive in soft, warm tones. Think linen, silk and earthy colours. Note: the grass can be soft — block heels are your friend.
Parking & directions
Free parking at the estate (entrance Olmenlaan 4). A shuttle bus leaves Vught station at 13:30 and 14:00.
Staying over
Hotel De Linde (5 min) and B&B Het Wed (10 min) hold rooms under 'Sophie & Emre' until 1 May.
